![]() ![]() ![]() You do want to make sure in your Traktor audio settings that the monitor output is set to monitor L and R, and not switched onto master L and R. I personally use a windows computer, so right clicking the volume icon in the bottom right corner and opening the audio control panel is where you do that. And then you can have computer audio play through a speaker system. There should also be another option caller "master", if you use that one the audio will come out the master outputs in the back that you could have plugged into speakers. That will route all computer audio through the headphone jack. If you have the audio driver for the controller (which you should), make the default audio output device FOR YOUR COMPUTER the "monitor" device. I've toyed around with ASIO4ALL and it seems like there are major latency issues if I'm using the headphone out on my laptop combined with the S2's main out, and god forbid I do the reverse. The best workaround I've found is predictably the simplest - unplugging the headphones from the PC and plugging them into the S2 when mixing - but this is a little annoying when I'm going in and out of Traktor and/or multitasking. This would be the simplest way, and I'm currently using a few "workarounds" each with their issues. Windows doesn't have a separate selectable output for the Kontrol's headphone out, and the Kontrol itself doesn't seem to route audio to headphones if they're connected (as a traditional sound card well might). audio coming from any app besides Pro 3) is there any way to get sound to come out on headphones? Traktor Pro 3 works seamlessly with it - no major concerns.įor PC audio though (i.e. I'm a newbie to mixing and have bought a Kontrol S2 MK3. ![]()
